This really is the ideal private VIP tour for small groups who have a whole day to soak up this wonderful beautiful medieval city.
This tour lasts 8-9 hours and will include historical attractions of Edinburgh and St Andrews. We will begin with a tour of Edinburgh's old and new town, before heading north through the beautiful countryside of Fife to St Andrews where golfers will be able to get their picture taken on the Swilcan Bridge and walk around the "Home of Golf." Afterwards, passengers can soak up the medieval history of the Cathedral and the Castle. It is also a university town with buildings that date back to the 13th century and is where Prince William met Kate Middleton. Cost of entry to any attractions is not included in the cost of this tour.
This tour lasts approximately 9 hours and we will start our tour in Edinburgh.. We will make numerous stops, including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile, Arthur's Seat, Calton Hill, the Grassmarket and the new town
From here we will drive to Stirling Castle, the site of many sieges by both the Scots and the English during the Scottish Wars of Independence. We will take you on a short guided tour inside the Castle. Afterwards, you will be free to explore the magnificence of the various parts of the Castle in your own time. Cost of entry to Stirling Castle is not included in the tour price.
This tour lasts up to 9 hours. We will head south of Edinburgh, stopping first at the 15th century Rosslyn Chapel (as featured in the Da Vinci Codes). From here we will then make our way down to Abbotsford House, home of Sir Walter Scott. What began as a humble farmhouse was eventually converted into a stunning Scottish Baronial mansion. Apart from the architecture, equally fascinating are the vast eclectic collections belonging to Scott.
After completing our visit to Abbotsford, we will make our way to Melrose. It is also famed for being the final resting place of the heart of Robert the Bruce at Melrose Abbey. Depending on energy levels visitors will be able to tour around the grounds of the Abbey and/or take advantage of the free time to indulge in a little retail therapy in Melrose itself before returning to Edinburgh.

Certified with 3 years experience of Whisky Tours. Explore the famous Speyside Malt Whisky Trail or head up to the Highlands and Islands to suit your requirements.
Visit Macallan's new £140 million distillery. Breathtaking architecture and stunning location. See the incredible whisky wall when you enter. Part of the Malt Whisky Trail.
Visit this stunning distillery dating back to 1824 and in the heart of the Queen's Glenlivet estate. Come and sample one of the best selling whiskies in the world. Part of the Malt Whisky Trail.
Glenfiddich is set in a tranquil town called Dufftown and is one of the best selling Scotch Whiskies in the world. Part of the Malt Whisky Trail it can be visited along with Macallan and Glenlivet on the same day.
Talisker is set in a stunning location on the Isle of Skye. Set in a bay in a small village called Carbost, it has to be one of the most picturesque distillieries in Scotland. This would probably be part of a multi day tour due to the location as its a 5 hour drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Oban is a stunning location for this fantastic distillery. Set in the heart of Argyle it is one of my favourite in Scotland. There is also a ferry port nearby if you fancy a trip to Tobermory on the Island of Mull, where they have a fantastic distillery.
